CivicScout counts Raleigh Police reported offenses that carry a location, traffic crashes and open 311 requests inside the Method boundary for any searched address. RPD withholds the location of most sexual offenses and every child-abuse report, so located counts understate violent crime. Police place incidents on the block’s street, so offenses within about 30 meters of the outline are counted, and an offense on a street shared by two neighborhoods counts toward both. Raleigh publishes no code violations feed, so this page does not cover one. The neighboring NC State University campus has its own campus police and is outside this outline.

CivicScout lists the building permits issued inside the Method boundary that have not yet expired. Active filings are mostly new residential dwelling, alteration/repairs and addition.
