Lee-Seville Crime Map & Reported Offense Data

Crimes cover the Lee-Seville neighborhood (the boundary outlined on the map), over the last 12 months. Open building violations are counted within roughly a half-mile of the center. Crime is compared per resident (rate), so a large, busy area can have a high total but a lower rate; violation counts are compared to the average Cleveland neighborhood. Source: City of Cleveland open data. About one in five recent Cleveland Division of Police reports carries no offense category in the public data (shown as “Unclassified report”). Those reports can include violent offenses, so counts here understate violent crime and cannot show that an area has little of it. Incidents handled by the airport, transit, campus and neighboring suburban police departments may not appear. Open data updates on a delay, so the most recent records may be incomplete.
